The food was fantastic overall, though the paani puri didn't quite hit the mark. 🫠 Everything else was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. And that bhindi masala, omg was absolutely heavenly – so flavorful and delicious. Given the price, the portion sizes were also great, definitely worth it! will come back for sure. 👍🏻

Everything we ordered was so good! The portions were great for the price, and the service was superb 😊 definitely order the pani puri, onion bhaji and garlic naan for sides. Writing this review makes me want to go back again tonight!

Indian Essence - Indian restaurant in Glenroy Melbourne has mediocre food quality while price is reasonable. Service was decent and bathroom was reasonably clean. You can pay with cash or card. They also do uber eats and door dash.

Indian Essence is tucked away in a great local Glenroy strip. It's a small family restaurant and the food is authentic. We enjoyed both their vegetarian and meat dishes. Service was attentive - and they changed our order promptly when we added to it. Very cheap! $84 for three people and we ate our fill.
